I've always been an Astra Militarum player. There's nothing as compelling as a common grunt facing off against all the horrors of the galaxy with nothing stronger than a lasgun. Minka Lesk embodies this... a young Cadian carrying the weight of a lost world upon her shoulders. Hell's Last is her fifth novel, and one of the stiffest tests she's been given - and it was a real pleasure to write. Though bitter sweet, for many reasons.
