I have struggled with my mental health for as long as I can remember. I have OCD, and it makes each day far more difficult than it would be without it. It means that my mind is constantly on overdrive, overthinking and overanalysing, getting stuck in cycles that seem like they’ll never end. The hobby has been a way to focus my mind on something that takes me away from that, and allows me a moment of peace, and to ‘reset’ in a way. Plus, it’s just an amazing creative outlet, and there’s nothing quite like seeing hours and hours of work displayed on my (almost full) shelves. I’d recommend this hobby to anyone who struggles with mental health. There’s nothing quite like it.

As for the mini itself, I chose a Blood Angel because they choose art to cope with their condition, and I think that the idea of fighting something so frightening with something so noble is something worth thinking about.
