What the hobby means to me - the hobby has provided a creative activity that I can enjoy any time of day, I use it as a distraction from real life as I'm sure most do but the biggest thing for me is that it allows me to try new weird and wonderful ways to create. This hobby has helped me through rather unfortunate times to say the least and overall, that can't be measured in money or time.

Story behind my donated miniature - It was one of the first minis I painted when returning back into the hobby as an adult, there's unfortunately no sentiment or rather deep connection behind it, but one thing I can say is that it's one of the first where I've started to find my preferred style of painting (grimdark) and with that, I hope someone enjoys it in their Black Templar army.
