We’ve just launched something a little different, The Great Kitbash Challenge! It’s our way of celebrating more than 30 years of Warhammer and the wild creativity that keeps the hobby alive.
Here’s how it works: five creators have each been handed a bag of random bits and challenged to build and paint a miniature using nothing else. No full kits, no shortcuts, just leftover sprues, spare parts, and imagination.
Once the models are finished, we’ll be revealing them on our Instagram for everyone to see. That’s when the real fun begins! You get to vote for your favourite and help decide who will be crowned champion kitbasher.
The winner won’t just earn bragging rights, they’ll also take home The Trophy, a suitably glorious prize to mark their victory.
We’ll be sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes progress along the way, so keep an eye on our channels to see how the builds take shape. Expect some genius ideas, a few unexpected surprises, and maybe even some hobby chaos.
This is all about celebrating what makes the Warhammer community so brilliant, the imagination to turn a pile of bits into something completely unique. We can’t wait to see what you think of the final creations and to crown our very first champion.
