A personal note from the donor: 

When I was a teenager, I struggled to form meaningful relationships at school. I’d sometimes go days without interacting with anyone and I’d often eat lunch by myself sitting at the foot of my locker. Being the extrovert that I am and not directly engaging with my peers would lead to severe depression.

Years later as an adult, although I’m sometimes challenged with bouts of depression, what helps me get through it is the hobby. Painting minis and having a laugh whilst playing wargames with my friends has become much needed sustenance. Add to that the JUST MOVE initiative and now we’re combining physical and mental health. This JUST MOVE Berserker Dave not only reminds me to get up and move but also reminds me I have meaningful relationships in our community.
