Black Seas is Warlord Games’ tabletop naval wargame set during the great age of sail. Players command fleets of sailing warships, manoeuvring for position before unleashing devastating broadsides or closing the distance for boarding actions. The game focuses on naval warfare from the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, when ships of the line, frigates, and smaller vessels dominated the oceans. Battles capture the tactics of the period, where wind direction, formation, and timing could decide the fate of entire fleets. The range includes ships, fleet boxes, and accessories for building naval forces suited to the Black Seas rules, allowing players to recreate engagements from the era of Nelson and the great maritime powers.
