Miniature wargaming and painting aren’t just hobbies to me… they’re something I genuinely lean on. When I’m painting, everything slows down. My thoughts stop racing and it’s just me and the model. There’s something really grounding about focusing on the tiny details, building something bit by bit and seeing it come to life in my hands. 

It helps me switch off from the stress in a way that feels easy, not forced. This hobby brings a different kind of relief, it lets me escape my own head and into a world where I can think, create, and just enjoy the moment. It also gives me a sense of connection and belonging that’s hard to find elsewhere. 

Altogether, it’s more than just something I do in my spare time. it’s something that keeps me steady, gives me space to breathe, and reminds me that it’s okay to just focus on one small thing at a time. 

In the end, it’s not just about the game or the models, It’s about standing side by side with my battle brothers and sisters, knowing I’m not in this alone.
